Roza's Biography
A great Dancer must have the discipline of a soldier and the soul of an Artist
Roza started her University Studies as an Art/Music Major. Following her urge to see the world, she joined the Navy and spent eleven years out side the US, living and travelling to numerous nations from India to Ireland, Saudi Arabia to Jordan.
She studied the contemporary history of the Middle East and Palestine with University of Maryland professors May Seikaly of Palestine and Dr. John Habib. (www.JohnsHabib.com) She reads and writes Arabic, speaks fluent Italian and goes to Egypt yearly to learn dance, culure and history.
Roza has trained with the worlds leading Belly Dancers in Egypt, including Dina, Randa Kamel, Raqia Hassan, Momo Kadous, Dr. Mo Gedawwi, Tito and many more. She has studied authentic Egyptian dance forms such as Nubian, Saidi, Hagle, and Saidi, and Sufism. She is unique in this position and can offer you training and fun in an ancient and oftern misunderstood art.
